Ohio Collegiate Music Educators Association

Emma served as an Executive Board member for Miami’s OCMEA Chapter for one year, fulfilling the role of Communications Officer. In this capacity, she was responsible for creating promotional materials for professional development events, ensuring effective communication with chapter members about upcoming initiatives, and providing support to the rest of the executive team. During her time, the OCMEA board successfully organized eight professional development events and coordinated a group trip to the 2024 OMEA Conference, significantly enhancing the chapter's engagement and growth.

Tau Beta Sigma

Emma served on the executive board of Miami's Tau Beta Sigma chapter for two years, taking on pivotal roles as both Communications Officer and Music Director. In these capacities, she played a key role in supporting the chapter’s operations, managing its social media presence, and ensuring effective communication within the organization. As Music Director, Emma was responsible for preparing the chapter to perform the national songs of Tau Beta Sigma, ensuring that the group was always ready to represent the organization with musical excellence.

Center for Student Engagement and Leadership

Emma served as a SEAL Ambassador for Service with the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership for a year, where she made significant contributions to the university community. In this role, she organized and led several workshops focused on leadership development and community service, providing students with valuable tools and insights. Additionally, Emma was responsible for managing the university’s service hour tracking website, ensuring that students could easily log and monitor their service activities. Through her work, Emma helped strengthen the culture of service and leadership on campus.
